I just added Flowershop Café to my list of favorite restaurants in Lagos…..I love this place!
As the name suggests, it is also a flower shop so the décor is simply enchanting……who knew merging sales of flowers and food would birth such beauty?
Remember Melanin Tee from My First Maison Kayser Experience?I believe the universe has blessed us with the lovely date syndrome…..whenever we meet up, we experience loveliness.
DrinksI had a Caramel Frappuccino and I loved it……milky, buttery, sweet and refreshing!
Melanin Tee ordered a Hibiscus Tonic Water but when it came, we realized it contained “Quinine”, something both of us are allergic to so it just sat pretty on our pretty unique table…..these people somehow got flowers beneath their glass-top tables!
FoodMelanin Tee had a Chicken Pot Pie and it was divine! I fell in love the moment I sighted that cute little pot and when I finally had my spoon cruising into the flaky top crust, the steam and yummy aroma that burst out tripled my excitement. As expected, the filling was creamy, tasty and boasted of tender chicken pieces. I would have been jealous if my meal wasn’t also scrumptious…… Flowershop Sunny Side up for me!I knew I was having this even before we arrived because a picture of it on Instagram already had me sold. Breakfast meals are forever my favorite and what’s not to love about this plate right here? I loved how buttery every item was, I loved that the bacon was turkey and not pork (some of us are trying to stay away from pork), I loved that there was an extra chunk of bread apart from the ones used as pockets, I loved that this extra bread was grilled (such gorgeous grill marks)…….
BathroomTheir bathroom has an African vibe I’m very in tune with…..what do you think?
Customer Comment CardThis was another reason for my Flowershop love…..knowing that they care about customer feedback.
