New Word Alert…..ChaiTang-ing! When a restaurant serves up mouth-watering meals in its spectacular space with a breathtaking view, it deserves to be added to the dictionary.

Not all food loving experiences are created equal, some school you on how indulgence can be tuned up to the max just like my HSE Gourmet escapade!

One of the highlights of my Paris visit was touring the famous culinary school, “Le Cordon Bleu”…..it was everything I dreamt of and more!

It was supposed to be a quick lunch date…..
But it turned out to be an experience that left my heart beaming with the pride of how rich the Nigerian Food Culture is!

Just when I thought I had experienced it all in the Lagos restaurants ocean view department, the rooftop lounge at Twinwaters Lagos decided to amaze me! The view of the Atlantic Ocean from this place is simply breathtaking…….

Lagos sure knows how to birth restaurants with foreign names, seeing this new one with the name “Lasgidi”, a funkified name for Lagos gave me a thrill, I had to visit……

As a lover of all French things, the minute @Lostinlagos announced that @MaisonKayser was not only opening up in Lagos, Nigeria but also a Visa Restaurant Week participating restaurant, my tastebuds were stoked!

My friend “Melanin Tee” who recently moved back from Paris must have been twinning with me in the desire to storm this very excellent French bakery/bistro owned by the renowned baker Eric Kayser as she excitedly text me and we set up a date for our escapade!

I came back the next Thursday to participate in this seafood feast. Just as my dining partners and I settled down on our seats at about 5p.m., we watched a boat arrive and beautiful seafood creatures were offloaded right infront of us. It was a sight to remember so of course we pulled out our cameras.

My 788 experience was a classic seafood feast. I visited during Restaurant Week and fell crazy in love with one of their seafood platters.
