Pitan (Olupitanolusanya Photography) is such a huge food lover! He is forever taking amazing shots of food and tormenting us on Instagram. I text him a few weeks back for photography tips and we decided to meet up at My Coffee Lagos (A cafe in Victoria Island)
The fact that I was spending my lunch break outside the office had me all excited till it was time to park. I felt like I was taking a driving test with a really mean examiner because the space isn’t just enough!
We got in and I thought I was in France for a minute, about six ladies were chatting away in french. This threw me off a little because I knew I would have to listen to them except they magically decide to converse in whispers….
My first sip didn’t wow me but I began to fall in love every time I got a cashewnut surprise…. I’m actually craving a cup as I type this *sigh*
Pitan ordered a panini (bread sandwich) and was kind enough to offer me half of it
Every cheese lover would enjoy this!
He took the pictures then we sat back to enjoy our meal over a conversation about the blog, food photography and restaurants. By now, the french speaking ladies had left and I began to admire this small space….with outlets to plug in your laptops and wifi connection, working while munching won’t be bad at all. As we were about to leave, the waiter had us bet on what country would win the Eurovision singing competition, I picked France just because I love France. I can’t remember what country Pitan picked but I know none of our countries won or we would be getting free coffee by now for betting right 😭 Time to say goodbye….. We decided to meet up like this every now and then so watch out for more of our food adventures….
