Remember my first Ile Eros visit? I mentioned that their menus would get frequent makeovers so yes, I went back for the new babies. Funny story, there’s a more recent makeover and I’m planning a third visit *tears*. Polished Nigerian food seems to be my thing now.
Sunday afternoon…….Friend’s birthday……..Need for fine dining…….Rumbling tummy…….RSVP here we are……..
One of the highlights of my Paris visit was touring the famous culinary school, “Le Cordon Bleu”…..it was everything I dreamt of and more!
It was supposed to be a quick lunch date….. But it turned out to be an experience that left my heart beaming with the pride of how rich the Nigerian Food Culture is!
Lagos sure knows how to birth restaurants with foreign names, seeing this new one with the name “Lasgidi”, a funkified name for Lagos gave me a thrill, I had to visit……
I came back the next Thursday to participate in this seafood feast. Just as my dining partners and I settled down on our seats at about 5p.m., we watched a boat arrive and beautiful seafood creatures were offloaded right infront of us. It was a sight to remember so of course we pulled out our cameras.
My 788 experience was a classic seafood feast. I visited during Restaurant Week and fell crazy in love with one of their seafood platters.
