One of the highlights of my Paris visit was touring the famous culinary school, “Le Cordon Bleu”…..it was everything I dreamt of and more!

As a lover of all French things, the minute @Lostinlagos announced that @MaisonKayser was not only opening up in Lagos, Nigeria but also a Visa Restaurant Week participating restaurant, my tastebuds were stoked!

My friend “Melanin Tee” who recently moved back from Paris must have been twinning with me in the desire to storm this very excellent French bakery/bistro owned by the renowned baker Eric Kayser as she excitedly text me and we set up a date for our escapade!

With €24.10 left in my wallet and a protruding stomach, I went on with my taste journey. It must have been about 20mins of lookery and window shopping before I spotted Flora Danica….

Excitement lives in the air that you breathe on the street of Champs Élysées….every step, every sight, every sound….
A day’s tour and I got the sense of why it’s the most famous street in Paris. Apart from the fact that it holds the monumental Arc de Triomphe, the amount of shops and restaurants on both sides of the road would blow your mind….from casual to high end.
