……Continued from last post……Just when I thought normal wine cellars were fancy enough…..The draped entrance to the pool area…..The pool area itself…..Super lit bar…..Art…..
Before my tour….We shared a starter….The Grill Burrata!I knew this one would be a winner because it has their name on it….simple but elegant! Never had burrata before and the waiter wasn’t very detailed in his description but google says it’s mozzarella cheese stuffed with cream. Definitely a winner…..such creamy deliciousness! Plus cutting into it was super satisfying (you have to do it to understand). The tomato coulie (foam-like fresh tomatoes) and croutons (pan fried bread pieces) did a good job flattering the Burrata.
Drink O’clock!
“Honey love me more” for me. It took a few sips for it to grow on me but when it finally did, I had a good time with it. My guess is….the more you sip, the more you fall in love as the name suggests.SP had a smokey negroni and loved it. I tried it and couldn’t decide whether to love it or not because the flavor profile wasn’t just my thing…..whisky base for a Vodka Lover? No, thank you!
Saturday evening…..A bit peckish…..Time to explore The Grill by Delis with SP…..
